State v. J.S.
J.S. was charged with allegedly having engaged in sexual contact with a minor. J.S. gave a full confession to police and was charged with Felonious Sexual Assault. J.S. hired Attorneys Shepherd & Osborne to represent him.
Attorney Osborne filed a motion that got his confession thrown out. Attorney Osborne was able to successfully negotiate a resolution that resulted in J.S. receiving a lesser misdemeanor offense. J.S. received a suspended sentence and did not have to serve any jail time.
State v. L.S.
L.S. was charged with having a large amount of marijuana on his person during a routine traffic stop. LS maintained that the marijuana was his but that it was for personal use only. The State of NH charged him with Felony Possession of a Controlled Drug With Intent to Sell.
Attorney Osborne represented LS at a day long jury trial. The jury returned from deliberating after a few hours and declared that LS was NOT GUILTY of a felony "intent to sell" charge.
State v. M.L.
M.L was charged with sexually assaulting a female acquaintance. After a five day jury trial, where ML was represented by Attorneys Osborne and Shepherd, ML was found NOT GUILTY by the jury on all charges. The jury deliberated for approximately 5 hours.
State v. M.
M. was charged Felony Sale of Controlled Drug to Undercover Police Officers. M. reportedly handed off a half joint to undercover detectives. He was arrested. Attorney Osborne stood by M at a one day trial. After deliberating for approximately 7 minutes, the jury returned with a NOT GUILTY verdict on the Felony charge of Sale of a Controlled Drug.
